Meet the dēzl 760: Garmin's Seven-Inch Truck Navigator

Garmin dezl 760 Active Lane Guidance

Meet our first seven-inch truck navigator, the dēzl 760. This new device is packed with trucking-specific functions, such as route calculation based on truck attributes, trucking points of interest (POIs), Hours of Service (HOS) logging, an extra-loud speaker and backup camera support. It also comes with a new Active Lane Guidance feature to help truckers confidently navigate intersections and exits. Compatible with Garmin Smartphone Link, it is the only navigation device for truckers with the ability to receive real-time information[1] through a smartphone app, such as fuel prices, traffic camera images and weather. The Garmin dēzl 760 will be on display at the Garmin booth (#9033) at the Great American Trucking Show (August 23-25, 2012) in Dallas, TX.
“The new dēzl 760 is designed to meet the specific needs of truckers, helping to make their job easier and save time, fuel, and money,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of worldwide sales. “Its seven-inch display makes it easy for truckers to see all the information they need at a glance and allows for split-screen depiction of our new Active Lane Guidance. With features like trip data recording, border notices and real-time information through Smartphone Link, the dēzl 760 becomes a full-featured digital assistant in the cab.”
The dēzl 760 is expected to become available in the fourth quarter of 2012[2] and will have a suggested retail price of $399.99. For more information visit http://www.garmin.com/dezl.
