NNG: Big Ambitions for Indian Auto Navigation Market

Hungary-based navigation software supplier NNG has big ambitions for the Indian automotive navigation market where it has been present since 2011.
According to the company in 2013 their market share in the line-fit GPS navigation segment and in-dash aftermarket was 30 percent.

Now NNG said it is aiming at 40 percent market share in the line-fit business and 70 percent in the aftermarket segment for 2014.

In India NNG has developed a strategic partnership with Ayana Navigation Solutions (ANS), a manufacturer of navigation and car multimedia systems.

Ayana Navigation Solutions and NNG LLC have just announced their cooperation with the Indian branch of German car infotainment giant Blaupunkt.

The recently launched San Diego 530 is Blaupunkt India’s latest aftermarket multimedia system for OEMs on the local market, it comes equipped with an integrated navigation solution by NNG and ANS.

This joint navigation solution comes with maps of India including almost 1.800.000 km of roads and more than 6.700.000 Points of Interest.

NNG and ANS said they have started working with four more Tier 1 suppliers and car makers in the last three months.
