How To Install Vehicles

How to install the vehicle:

1. Make sure you have the Garmin Communicator Plugin installed on your computer.
2. Connect your Garmin GPS device to your computer.
3. Go to the vehicle download page.
4. Click Install Now.

How to install without the Garmin Communicator Plugin:

1. Connect your Garmin GPS device to your computer.
2. Click Download Now.
3. Click Open, if necessary.
4. Click Extract.
5. Find the “Garmin/Vehicle” folder on the Garmin drive.
6. Right-click the Unplug or Eject icon in your system tray. Click the drive letter which corresponds with your device.
7. Unplug the USB cable from your device.

How to change your ride:

nüvi® 11/12/13/14/1600 Series

1. On your device, touch Tools.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Map.
4. Scroll down and touch Vehicle.
5. Select the new vehicle from the list.

nüvi 22/23/24/3700 Series

1. On your device, touch Tools.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch Navigation.
4. Touch Automobile.
5. Scroll down and touch Vehicle.
6. Select the new vehicle from the list.
